Bitter Chocolate Sorbet


  • 200 mls (7 oz) hot water
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 4 tablespoons golden syrup


Blend the ingredients until well mixed. Allow to cool, and then freeze in a sorbetière, ice-cream maker, or in a container in the freezer. If using the latter method, stir from time to time to soften the mixture.
