Stir-Fried Kohlrabi and Chinese Leaves with Toasted Sesame Seeds

  • 2 kohlrabi
  • 1 head Chinese cabbage
  • 2 tablespoons sesame

Method

Peel and quarter, then cut the kohlrabi into slim wedges. Trim and shred the Chinese cabbage.

In a wok, sauté pan or stir-fry pan, dry-toast the sesame seeds, and put to one side. Heat the groundnut oil and in it stir the vegetables until wilted. Add the water and vinegar, put the lid on, and shake the vegetables.
