Fresh Fruit Sorbet

Ingredients

  • 200 mls (7 oz) freshly squeezed orange or grapefruit juice
  • 100 g (4 oz) unrefined caster sugar dissolved in 1 tablespoon water

Method

Mix the juice and syrup, and freeze in the usual way. Less sugar will give a grainier, more crystalline sorbet, more of a granita, whereas more sugar will give a softer texture.
