This is a homely version of the more elaborate and traditional bastilla. Any mixture of nuts and herbs can be used, but the cashew nuts make this recipe more unusual. Served with a fruity Moroccan salad, such as artichoke heart and orange salad or grapefruit and fennel salad, this pie makes a delightful meal or, on a lovely summer day, it is great to take on a picnic.
