My friend Tikki Halperin turned me on to this way of making pizzas with pita bread. They taste a lot more authentic than those made with English muffins, and you can top them with bits and pieces of whatever ingredients you have on hand. Each pizza can bear a different topping, thereby satisfying the most eclectic bunch of eaters.
