Even though this takes a long time to bake, it is a snap to make thanks to the help of store-bought cookies. While the dessert is baking, make some soup or just relax.
When peaches are in season and especially sweet, this dessert becomes so irresistible, I sheepishly confess to having had a couple of portions of it for dinner. To assuage my guilt, however, I ate it with a nutritious cup of low-fat ricotta, which makes for a delicious mix with the peaches. This recipe is my exception
