As I mentioned in the introduction to this chapter, this will certainly gain you credits if you serve it to your partner on a Saturday or Sunday morning.

Ingredients

  • 2-3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4-6 sausages (whatever type/flavour you fancy)
  • 150 g

Method

Heat 1 tablespoon of the olive oil in a medium to large non-stick frying pan. Cut the sausages into 1-2cm thick slices on an angle with a sharp knife, add to the frying pan and fry for roughly 5 minutes until cooked through and just becoming golden. Once cooked, remove from the pan and keep warm.

Grate the sweet potato using the coarse part of the grater. Place in a bowl, mix in the egg
