A fragrant ingredient commonly used in Morocco mixed with a favourite ingredient commonly drunk on New Year’s Eve.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons rose syrup (see PS ...)
  • 1 bottle of chilled champagne or sparkling wine

Method

Divide the rose syrup among the champagne glasses (about 1 teaspoon each) and top up with champagne or sparkling wine. Sit a rose petal on top of each and let the celebrations begin.
