This recipe uses the same cider batter I used for Apple Fritters in Rhodes Around Britain. That’s the beauty of cooking, so many flavours help each other. With these I like to serve Coconut Ice-cream and Rum Custard Sauce. It’s almost like eating a hot Pina Colada cocktail! The fritters also eat well with clotted cream and Chocolate Sauce.
