Ingredients

  • 6 medium scallops, cut in half horizontally
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Method

Place a wide frying pan or plancha over a high heat and season the scallops with salt. When the pan is hot, add the oil, followed by the scallops. Sear for 1–2 minutes on each side, until golden but not cooked through. Remove from the pan and serve with the chosen sauce.
