Kecap manis is a seasoning and condiment you don’t want to be without when cooking and eating Indonesian food.
In a medium microwave-safe bowl, mix together the water, soy sauce, and palm sugar. Microwave on medium for about 30 seconds. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Scale up the ingredients to make a bigger quantity and store in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
