This is a simple last-minute dish to serve with braised meat or a casserole instead of rice or potatoes. As a variation, 1 tablespoon shredded basil can be stirred in just before serving in place of the parsley.

Ingredients

  • 1 litre ( pints) boiling water
  • 1 chicken or beef stock cube

Method

Preheat the oven to 110°C (225°F/Gas ¼).

Bring the water to the boil in a large pot, then add the stock cube and the noodles. Partially cover, lower the heat and simmer for
