Every Jewish husband makes the best pickled cucumbers and mine is no exception. The only time we’ve ever found anything comparable was in the Nasch (food) Market in Vienna. So enjoy!
To make the pickling solution, put the water in a large saucepan, add the salt and stir until dissolved. Add all the remaining ingredients except the cucumbers.
