These make the best topping for French toast, pancakes and porridge. Also try dropping a few spoons into soda water or bubbly wine – delish!
Place all of the above into a small pan and very gently simmer for 4 or 5 minutes. You want the sugar to dissolve into a syrup, but you also want the raspberries to hold their shape so stop cooking before they break down. Leave to cool.
