A Mountain Café staple from day one. We serve this on our granola and it also gets used on pancakes, cakes and inside muffins.

  • Store in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to four weeks.


  • 200 g frozen fruits of the forest berries
  • zest and juice of 1 orange


Place the berries, orange juice and zest into a heavy-bottomed pan and bring to the boil. Reduce the heat until the berries are at a rolling simmer. The berries will release quite a bit of juice so leave to simmer until the liquid has reduced by half.
