This dessert is delicious and lightning quick to make, yet classic and classy enough to serve at the most grown-up of dinner parties. It can all be left until the last moment as you won’t be away from the dinner table for long and, arms laden with this jewel-like platter of fruit, you will certainly be welcomed back with geat enthusiasm! I love the way the balsamic vinegar adds a sweet and dark bass note to the soft fruit. Serve with vanilla ice cream to soften the whole experience.
