These German-style link sausages are simmered in beer before browning on the grill and topped with bell pepper, onion, and green chile in crunchy bolillos. These brats remind me of Fourth of July parties during my childhood. I can still see my late German uncle Wolfgang standing at the grill drinking a Tecate and grilling.
