A riff on the Champagne cocktail, this rose-tinted sparkling wine punch is flavored with orange and cranberry. The addition of floating frozen orange slices and cranberries to the bowl keeps the punch well chilled and looking beautiful.
Arrange the orange slices and cranberries in a single layer on a sheet pan or dish and freeze until solid, about 1 hour.
When ready to serve, pour the cranberry juice and liqueur into a punch bowl and stir to mix well. Then pour in the sparkling wine. Float the frozen orange slices and cranberries in the punch and serve immediately.
