Greek spoon sweets (glyka tou koutaliou) have become wildly popular outside Greece, as they’re used as toppings on Greek yogurt, frozen yogurt, and ice cream. They’re made mainly with fruits, but sometimes with soft tree nuts, and are served in a teaspoon on a small plate to guests as a gesture of hospitality, accompanied by coffee and a glass of cold water. I’m a fanatic when it comes to spoon sweets, my favorite being sour cherry, though my mom makes quince and grape only. Now, don
