Cutlets are often served with this tomato gravy, which resembles a sweet-sour cream of tomato soup. They then become tamota ni gravy na katles.


  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon


  • Heat the oil in a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat. Soften the onion without browning, stirring occasionally. Add the paste. Stir for a moment before adding the cayenne, ¼ teaspoon to start. Add the tomatoes and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for a few minutes until the
