Here’s an idea for an aperitif to serve before a Parsi meal. You don’t need much of a recipe, just a bottle of the sparkling wine you like to drink, plus some pomegranate syrup. The size and the strength of the mixture are up to you.

  • Sparkling wine
  • Pomegranate syrup to taste

  • Pour the sparkling wine into a glass of your choice, big or small. Pour in a small amount of the syrup. You’ll have to do a taste test yourself to determine how much. However you serve the drink, mixed by you or stirred up by your guest, the effect is beautiful, the taste refreshing.
