A traditional muffuletta sandwich consists of a round loaf of bread split horizontally and filled with layers of delicious Italian ingredients. This version makes for the perfect festive sandwich but is just too good to have only once a year.
Slice a 3cm lid off the top of the loaf. Scoop out most of the bread from the loaf and the lid, leaving a 1cm layer (blitz these into breadcrumbs and use another time).
Mix the mayonnaise, mustard and honey together in a small bowl and season to taste.
Spread the red onion chutney all over the inside of the loaf, then add a layer of Emmental cheese followed by a layer of turkey.
