I think this is a very good combination of flavours. Serve with toast as a starter, or eat as a main course with baked potatoes, and spicy soy and ginger sauce.


  • 1 medium sized savoy cabbage
  • 25 g/1 oz/2 tablespoons <


Pre-heat the oven to 220°C/425°F/Gas mark 7. Trim and slice the cabbage into very small pieces. Melt the butter in a saucepan and sweat the coriander for a moment or two. Add the cabbage and cook it over a very low heat for about 5 minutes, or until just soft. Let it cool. Generously b
