Offer this at the end of a meal on the cheese board, or keep in the refrigerator for snacks.


  • 100 g/4 oz/½ cup curd/small curd cottage cheese
  • 100 g/4 oz/½ cup Quark or puréed cottage cheese
  • 1 tablespoon each of chopped parsley, chives, chervil and basil
  • 50 g/2 oz/4 tablespoons softened butter seasoning to taste
  • toasted sesame seeds for garnish


    Mix everything together thoroughly. Chill and serve.
