A strongly-favoured sauce from southern Italy which has a lovely colour and texture.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 900 g/

Method

Heat the oil in a pan and add the garlic and tomatoes. Stir well and cook for a minute or two, then add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes.
