  • ½ cup shortening or butter
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1

Method

  1. Melt the shortening or butter in a large skillet. Add the onions and celery and sauté for fifteen minutes.

  2. Combine bread cubes, liver, walnuts and seasonings. Add to onion-celery mixture. This gives a dry stuffing. For a moist stuffing, add the water and brandy.
