Like the peanut butter and jelly sandwich, this smoothie combines the flavours of berries and peanut butter.

Preparation time: 5 minutes


  • 1 banana, peeled and frozen
  • 125 g ( oz) strawberries, washed, hulled and frozen
  • 2 dried medjool dates, pitted
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 250 ml (9 fl oz/1 cup)* whatever milk you like (almond, rice, cow’s, etc.)


Blend all the ingredients together until you have a creamy mixture. You can also use fresh fruit instead of frozen and replace some of the water with ice cubes.

* Or enough to make up a total volume of 500 ml (17 fl oz/2 cups) combined ingredients.
