These coveted tangdi, or chicken drumsticks in Hindi, are a classic Indian appetiser. Haryali in Hindi means “green”, and this kabab is made from chicken drumsticks coated in a blend of fresh coriander/cilantro and spices and cooked to perfection. Very popular in North Indian restaurants in Delhi, the haryali tangdi always makes a sizzling grand entrance when it arrives at the table, served with chutneys, lemon slices and an onion ring salad.
