Method

  • Chill a large martini glass.
  • Wet the rim of the glass by rubbing it with a wedge of lime.
  • Dip rim in a saucer of salt.
  • Shake off excess.
  • Shake 3 tbsp gold Tequila, 1 tbsp Cointreau or Triple Sec, 2 tbsp fresh lime juice and 1 tsp egg white with ice blocks in a shaker.
  • Shake vigorously, then strain carefully into glass, avoiding the salt rim.
