Tod mun, a favorite appetizer in Thai restaurants, are little fried fish cakes enhanced with the amazing flavor of kaffir lime leaf. They make a fine snack with drinks, served with a sweet, spicy dipping sauce, or add a pot of jasmine rice and a cucumber salad for a simple meal. Although my version is not completely authentic, it’s a fairly faithful homage to the original.
