This African-inspired stew, one of my favorites in the soupy spectrum, is a carnival of flavors, with rich peanut, ginger, curry, lime, and sweet potato paired with the South African version of a panini. The word braaibroodjie (bry-BROOD-she; say it three times fast) sounds unusual but this dish will charm you with its meltingly salty-sharp cheese, tart chutney, onion, and tomato between raisin-laced brown bread. Yum.
