This North African spicy stew not only tastes good but is good for you too. I crave it in January after all the culinary debauchery of the holidays, as this kind of brew puts my diet back on track. The harissa really adds a spicy character, so don’t skimp on it. Sure, it’s hot, but it’s also flavorful, rich, and smoky. You can adjust the harissa to suit your tastes but I usually make this a little hotter than is comfortable in order to shock my system back into a healthy rhythm, much like a
