Whole Orange and Almond Cake

I like to visit local schools, fêtes and jumble sales. The reason for going is to find the cakes that are always on offer. This recipe reminds me of those sorts of cakes: often quite simple but absolutely packed with flavour. This one is certainly both. It’s made with whole oranges which give it a good, sharp taste and make it very moist to eat, either as a cake or as a pudding served with Marmalade Cheesecake Cream. The quantities are quite large, but usi
