In a small saucepan, heat the juice and sugar over low heat until the sugar has dissolved. Chill in the refrigerator.
Peel the apples and, using a turning knife, cut into small pieces. Place in a vacuum pouch with the chilled juice mixture and the vitamin C powder and vacuum-pack on 100 per cent for 50 seconds in a chamber vacuum sealer*. Place in the refrigerator to macerate for 6 hours before serving.
