Method

In a saucepan, bring the water and sugar to a simmer, stirring until the sugar has dissolved.

Keep each fruit separate in its own heatproof airtight container. Pour the hot sugar syrup over each fruit and allow to cool to room temperature. Cover and refrigerate until needed.
