The great flavour of this ice-cream relies on a base of strong, well-made espresso coffee. Do not be tempted to use an inferior instant substitute. I began making Espresso Ice-cream to accompany the Chocolate Mocha Tart as the textures and flavours work in perfect harmony. It remains a constant and popular feature on our menu.
