  • About

This is a melt-in-the-mouth, light-as-a-feather dessert. It has to be eaten as soon as it is baked, as reheating makes it soggy. Have the pastry rounds, apple slices and Apple Butter ready and you will be able to whip this up in no time.

Ingredients

  • 1 quantity of Puff Pastry
  • 3 golden delicious apples
  • 6 tablespoons

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Roll out the pastry and cut 6 rounds 15 cm in diameter. Refrigerate until required.
  2. Peel, core and cut the apples into thin segments.
  3. Arrange the pastry rounds on a buttered baking tray and spread with the Apple Butter
