Figamaroles

The idea for this dessert came when I was playing tennis and missed a backhand shot. In frustration I exclaimed, “Oh figamarole!” Now I don’t know about you, but that word is not a part of my vocabulary or in any dictionary of the English language that I inspected. I looked at my partner and said, “That would be a great name for a dessert!” Obviously it would have to have figs in it and it should be rolled...
