  • About

Crème fraîche is more widely available in U.S. grocery stores than it was a couple of years ago, but some stores still do not carry it. Luckily, it is simple enough to make—you just need to plan ahead to give it time to thicken. Powdered buttermilk does not work as well as the liquid variety. Crème fraîche is atangy alternative to Chantilly Cream.
