The seas that wash onto the Italian peninsula offer a dazzling selection of fish and seafood. One of my favorites is octopus. In addition to the large octopus we are familiar with, baby octopi of varying sizes also appear frequently in fish stews and pasta sauces. The most common term for a baby octopus is polipo.
