  • About

The Breton biscuit (palet breton) originated in the French region of Brittany in the early 20th century. These delicious, buttery tea biscuits gained their name from the region of France where they were created. Holding true to its coastal roots, the palet breton is also known as the “sables” Breton, which, of course, means “sand.” This alternate name is derived from the grainy texture of the biscuit and the coastal region where it was created.
