  • About

This is a slightly fatter bread, and where lavash can seem rather strange to the uninitiated, this bread is a dream. Usually eaten warm, it is like a Persian ciabatta. It is good as an accompaniment to food, but also can be used as a pizza base. It is usually made in ovals 50–60 cm long, but also comes in a tear-drop shape, or in small rectangles.
