Abbie: This is one of my favorite salads. It’s crisp, colorful, summery, and it leaves you feeling as good as it looks. The luscious green beans, fresh-cut strawberries, and tender salmon really brighten up the table.
Pour the wine and water into a medium sauté pan with a lid. Add the lemon juice and slices, the dill sprigs, bay leaf, peppercorns, and salt and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
