Abbie: This is a unique creation of Jacq’s that is full of flavor and surprisingly filling. The crispy tofu’s warm, earthy flavor pairs perfectly with the coconut cream, which adds a bright note to every bite. Serve it with steamed rice and a side of sautéed greens to make it a meal.



  • 1 (16- ounce/455- g) package extra-firm tofu
  • 3 tablespoo


Make the Tofu

Drain the tofu and wrap it in a dish towel. Squeeze gently to remove excess moisture. Remove the towel and wrap the tofu in another towel and place it on a dinner plate. Use paper towels if dish towels are unavailable. Lay a plate on top of the tofu and place a can or a sweet potato on top to help press the tofu and remove extra moisture.
