Peanut Tart Crust

This is a fantastic nut crust—delicious all on its own—that works with vanilla, chocolate, or coffee custard fillings. You must use roasted peanuts, and the extra step of making them into candied peanuts is well worth the effort. Simply adding sugar to roasted peanuts won’t yield the same result. Make extra to have candied peanuts for snacking. They won’t last long.
