My client in Portugal, Lupita Pizzaria, is a favorite. It’s a small place in Lisbon focused on quality and local ingredients, and its chef Duda Ferreira is super talented. We used a local stone-milled flour from just outside Lisbon and were next to Mercado da Ribeira, an old market by the waterfront, which meant access to wonderful fruit, vegetable, and spice stalls and a seafood market.

The seafood market is run by women. Apparently, the men are fishing. Duda knows
