This is a multipurpose marinara sauce. It’s easy to make and freezes wonderfully. You can use this in any recipe where marinara is called for.

  • ½ cup finely diced red onion
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  1. In a medium-sized pot, sauté the onion with a few tablespoons of water for 5 to 7 minutes until the onions are translucent. Add the garlic, oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes and continue to simmer for another 2 minutes.
