  • 6 to 8 lion’s mane mushrooms
  • ½ red onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced


  1. Using a fork, gently pull apart the lion’s mane mushrooms into thick strips.
  2. Toss the mushrooms with the red onion, garlic, safflower oil, and chili powder.
  3. Heat a small amount of oil in a sauté pan on medium heat, add the mushroom mixture, and sauté until the mushrooms are slightly golden, but not too soft.
  4. Remove the mixture from the heat
