  • 5 or 6 Roma tomatoes, roughly chopped
  • ½ red onion, roughly chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, mashed and roughly chopped


  1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor, and pulse lightly until the desired chunkiness is reached. Do not over-process.
  2. Drain through a wide-mesh strainer, and reserve the liquid for Bloody Marys or broth.
  3. Taste the salsa and add additional salt, pepper, lime juice, and oregano, to taste.
