Warung Muselman isn’t the sort of place you’d notice roaring down the main drag in the spiritual, artistic, and commercial city of Ubud in Bali, Indonesia. There’s nothing remarkable about this storefront grill shop, except perhaps, three legs of young goat in various states of dissection, hanging unrefrigerated in the window. Or the slender charcoal saté grill on rickety legs, ventilated by an electric fan, by the front door. It’s a scene you’d see in ten thousand other places in Indonesia
